Established in early 1976 by Dr  K.E. Makaronas, the Law Firm provides comprehensive and successful results –orientated legal advice and services in both the consultancy and litigation fields   related to

For over 35 years the Law Firm has worked for numerous commercial, shipping, industrial and trading entities and enterprises, cooperatives of any degree including agricultural cooperatives and confederations and individuals.

 

We have acted and are still acting as legal advisors to various entities of the Public Sector and to Ministries of the Hellenic Republic.

 

The experience acquired enable us to meet demanding legal requirements without neglecting to offer the necessary attention to detail and responsiveness needed.

 

A selection of recent Courts’ Judgments issued after judicial procedures and litigations in which our Law Firm represented various cases of our clients, appears in this site.

 

We reasonably believe that the reader of such a selection may form an opinion as regards the extent and variety of the matters the team of our Law Firm has been requested to face efficiently before the Courts.

 

Our team of four lawyers, three assistants and support staff focus on providing with legal assistance and advice on practically all the important fields of law where practical solutions are needed.

 

Dr K.E. Makaronas followed law studies in the Athens University Law School (1967-1972) and, after his graduation, he was admitted in the University of Bordeaux, France (1972) where he worked and prepared his Dissertation (These) which was accepted in May, 1975 granting him the Diplome de Docteur en Droit (Maritime).

 

During the same time period he served as assistant to the Professor Henri Tonnet in the Section of Modern Greek Language and Literature of the University of Bordeaux.

 

In the meantime (1974) he was admitted to the Athens’ Bar.

 

He is allowed to represent and defend and does defend cases of Civil, Criminal and Administrative Law before all the Supreme Courts and Jurisdictions in the Hellenic Republic as well as before the European Courts.

 

He was elected by the Athens lawyers as a member of the Council of the Athens’ Bar for two consecutive periods (1996-2002) and he has served as Head of the Greek Delegation in the Council of the European Bars in Brussels where he worked in connection with the various issues related to the Greek and European Advocacy and the unification of the relevant rules.

 

During five consecutive years (2005-2009) he was a member of the Hellenic Competition Committee.

 

He is a member of the Hellenic Maritime Law Association, the Hellenic Association for European Law and other similar Associations.
